Thornton Place

Seattle, Washington

In 2004 Lorig accepted the challenge to redevelop this site after the two previous developers had failed to be successful.  For three years, Lorig worked in close public/private partnership with the City of Seattle, King County and a Northgate Stakeholders Group convened by Mayor Greg Nickels to develop a plan that was both financially feasible and supported by all of the key interest groups.  The resulting mixed-use, mixed-income project brings new housing and entertainment options to the neighborhood in a walkable setting, set against the lush green backdrop of the public water channel.
