Broadway Place Apartments is a mixed-use, 170-unit
residential apartment building constructed over a public parking
garage in Eugene, Oregon. We initiated this unique public/private
project as a solution to citizen objections that the City of Eugene's
planned 742-car parking garage would not enhance nor encourage the
redevelopment of the local downtown neighborhood. With housing and
lushly landscaped courtyards located on top of the parking, (plus
14,000-square feet of new commercial space at ground level), the
project has brought new life to an area of Eugene's downtown core.
The Village at Overlake Station in Redmond, Washington combines 308 apartments, a daycare facility and a transit Park and Ride station in one location. This unique living environment has easy transit connections, lush landscaping and family oriented services, and yet is affordable for the average worker. The project is the first of several similar developments being sponsored by King County, King County Housing Authority and Metro, which aim to more effectively use key transit locations in the region.
The U.S. Bank Center was the first new high-rise office building built in Eugene, Oregon in over 20 years. We led the development, negotiated the sale of a city-owned parcel and managed the design and construction of the building. The building is anchored by U.S. Bank's regional offices and now stands as a key element in the skyline of downtown Eugene.
