We developed this ground-breaking, 35-bed project on behalf of AIDS Housing of Washington in 1991. It was the first time in the United States that a skilled nursing facility had been built specifically for people living with HIV/AIDS. We guided the project from feasibility through design, funding and construction. Bailey-Boushay has since served as an example to other communities around the country for creating a viable alternative for those living with HIV/AIDS.

In 1995 and 1996, as the owner's representative, we were responsible for coordinating the design, renovation and construction, and partial financing of this historic Seattle landmark. The complex renovation, which included the placement of the building onto the Historic Register, brought the theater back to its original, gilded glory. It continues to house major cultural events and stands as a testament to the benefits of preserving the unique architecture of the past.

Woodleaf Village is an affordable family housing community located in the hills above Eugene, Oregon. It includes a total of 60 two- and three-bedroom attached townhomes within 30 buildings spread over six acres. It also includes a community building that serves as the social center for the community residents. We managed the development process and were instrumental in obtaining low income housing tax credits, credit restrictive covenants, low income property tax exemptions, and gaining community acceptance for this unique development.
