Project
Playing a major part in the current revitalization of the Green Lake community, Lorig is in the planning stages of a new mixed-use development combining underground parking, residential, retail, and large amounts of public open space. The project will comprise all or parts of three city blocks in Green Lake's central hub and act as a catalyst for the area's emerging commercial growth.
More than three acres in size, the site is a unique property owned by the families that owned and operated Vitamilk Dairy, a local, family-run business that opened in 1940 and remained in operation until 2003. The family is closely involved in the project and will retain long-term ownership of the property, leasing apartments and retail space.
The project will feature substantial public plazas and a pedestrian-focused design. Lorig's plan for the three-phase development will provide more than 120,000 square feet of retail space and a welcome variety of retail businesses.
The first phase includes approximately 280 apartments in five stories above 55,000 square feet of retail space and an underground parking garage.
Upon completion of the second and third phases, the project, which was recently named Park71@Green Lake, will include an additional 200 or more apartments and more than 60,000 square feet of retail commercial space.
